The Good In The Bad

#TBT to Nigeria 2001

I love this picture🥰, it’s definitely one of my favourites, it’s in my office where I can always see it❤️

It reminds me of the good in the bad, the blessings in the burden, and that everything happens for a reason🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes, I was married to an abusive man😢...yes, he lied to me and said he was a refugee when he wasn’t🙄...yes, I was 17 and he was 32…yes, he totally took advantage of me and groomed me to his liking🤮...yes, he abused me and my daughters😡...yes, he threatened to kill me and almost did once😓...yes, he made me a single mother of 3…yes, he brought me to court and tried to literally take everything from me😒

But☝️... because I married him, I also got to see the world🌍...Because he was deported I got to go to Nigeria🇳🇬, lived in Paris🇫🇷 and been to England🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, Germany🇩🇪, and Netherlands…because I fell for him, I also got 3 outstanding daughters😍 who saved me from myself and who forced me to heal and become who I am today💪...& because I have met him, I’ve gained the experience that came with it that I use to empower others today😏. I don’t know about you but I feel like it was totally worth it🤗

If I hadn’t met him and fell for him, would I have been who I am today?🤔...I really doubt it🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve learnt that everything happens for a reason therefore I have no regrets, if I was to go back I wouldn’t change a thing. Although I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have said that when I was in that moment😅, very often the tragedies in our lives also can bring us great fortune💫.

It might sound wrong but once you’ve done some healing work, it all starts to make sense. If we can just be open to seeing👀 it & keep an open mind , there is usually a gift🎁 and lesson in every situation that brings pain😉. One thing is for sure, EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON!!!

And I’m almost willing to bet that it’s the same thing with this plandemic….don’t EVER give up, we got this👊
